Low interest rates also make cars a bargain

by Rob Regan on February 26, 2013

Interest rates today are so low that affordability indexes say the last time it was this affordable to buy a home was in the early 1980’s.  Since I mainly think and write about real estate it hadn’t occurred to me to apply this to cars.  As it happens my car dealer here in San Francisco contacted me about trading in my car early, and after reading this article by Barry Ritholtz at The Big Picture I may just take him up on that offer.
